Welcome to the
Cayman Islands

A warm Caymanian welcome to our three pristine jewels of the Caribbean! And thank you for choosing to spend your vacation with us.

The Cayman Islands is globally known as a financial services Mecca, but I invite you now to explore another facet of our islands, which offer you a combination of heritage, sun, sea, sand, natural beauty and diving second to none.

Starting on Grand Cayman, the constant pulse of a thriving business centre awaits you in the capital, George Town. But island-wide, a rich mix of heritage sites, duty-free shopping, water sports and international cuisine beckons.

Take an historic walk through George Town. Explore our heritage by visiting the National Museum, Pedro St. James or go east and hike the Mastic Trail. Take in the scents of indigenous flora at Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park; swim with the rays at Stingray City or stop off at any of our numerous beaches, from West Bay to Rum Point.

Post-exploration, indulge in a wide selection of cuisines, from Asian to North American; dance the night away or purchase luxury watches, jewellery, perfumes and cosmetics all at duty-free prices.
But, for those who prefer a more laid-back pace, opportunities abound on our Sister Islands – Cayman Brac and Little Cayman – destinations where time still seems to call a halt. Just a short island-hop away, their natural beauty is breathtaking.

Dramatic scenery, nature reserves and trails await you on the Brac. Snorkel shallow reefs, dive breathtaking walls or incredible wrecks, then gaze off to the horizon atop the 144-foot high Bluff. Other notable attractions include the island’s many caves and the Parrot Reserve.

On Little Cayman, miles of untouched wilderness, secret coves and beaches, rare birds and shy iguanas combine to make the island a stand-alone beauty. Bloody Bay Marine Park awaits divers and the Booby Pond Reserve is a bird lover’s must see.

But of all the unique experiences you’ll enjoy on our islands, it’s the warmth and charm of the Caymanian people, and the 130-plus nationalities who call Cayman home, that will make your vacation truly memorable.

With so much to see and do, I hope you’ll make the Cayman Islands a routine stop on your annual travel itinerary.
Enjoy your stay with us and see you again soon.

Warmest Regards,
Hon. McKeeva Bush,
OBE, JP, MLA, Premier and Minister for Finance, Tourism & Development
