Whether you’ve arrived for a family adventure, a romantic getaway or simply a vacation from the everyday, we’re happy you’ve chosen to spend time with us in the Cayman Islands
The Cayman Islands, being situated in the middle of the Western Caribbean Sea, offer miles of white sandy beaches and warm year-round temperatures, in addition to some of the best outdoor activities and culinary experiences in the world. I’m excited to share with you, everything which makes this historically rich and fascinating country a world-class destination.
The three islands which make up the Cayman Islands have an array of activities which range from laid back to enjoyably challenging. By visiting the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, you can take a leisurely stroll through the various trails which have rare endemic plant species on exhibit, or tour the Blue Iguana sanctuary to learn about the recovery programme which is saving the critically endangered species from the brink of extinction. The Stingray City sandbar remains one of Cayman’s most well-known activities, where more then two-dozen wild yet docile Southern Stingrays interact with visitors for an experience of a lifetime. Historic sites such as Pedro St. James Castle offer a glimpse into Cayman’s past.
The diving throughout the Cayman Islands remains some of the most highly acclaimed in the world. With recognitions from some of the biggest names in the industry, the country’s more than 365 dive sites – with features such as the new Kittiwake wreck - continue to entice divers from around the globe to explore the pristine underwater environment.
The sister islands of Little Cayman and Cayman Brac are located approximately 90 miles to the North-East of Grand Cayman and offer the same great, tropical climate as the larger island. Here, you will find great exhilarating activities such as exploring the fascinating caves on the rocky 144 foot outcrop known as the bluff, hiking one of the many pristine nature trails and fishing for record-breaking game fish in the clear Caribbean Sea.
On behalf of the country, it’s my pleasure to welcome you to our shores and I encourage you to take the time to explore our attractions and embark on the various unique activities which the islands offer. See you again soon.
Warmest regards,
Shomari Scott,
